We LOVE going to Apple Hill, so we were excited to go again this year, especially since Caleb is now the age where he will appreciate and enjoy it more.
We brought Zoe, Joshua, Trevor (a friend from church), and Oma...and had a great time!
The goats were pretty funny!
I think this one slobbered on Matt's hand
Caleb found a stage to perform on!
The only bummer part of the trip was that we went during the peak season, which meant that driving from one farm to another took a VERY LONG time! What would normally take 5 minutes took about a half hour. At least we had some nice views on the way.We had to go to High Hill, which is where Matt went every year growing up. We parked by this huge stack of apple boxes, which smelled of sour apples.
We always have to stop to get a free taste of fresh apple cider! SO GOOD!
Our favorite booth full of hand made wooden vehicles.
And the hat booth is always a winner too!
Oh so handsome! :)
The firemen where even there to help raise money for people in need during the holidays. We FINALLY stopped for the highlight of the trip...Carmel Apples!
Then we just had some fun playing on the dirt hills....
....looking at animals...
...just being together! (this is taken in the same place as a picture from when he was a month old with me)........and then we found some cardboard that people had left to slide down the hill on!
Caleb wanted to try too, so Daddy went with him, and....
...aaaahhhhhh!!!!
Great climbing tree even for Caleb
The vineyards are really pretty, especially when the sun is low.
A great day once again!
I like the one where you are holding him upside down! Also, the other one of you holding him. The ones with Matt and Caleb are great too! Matt is such a wonderful dad to Caleb!
