Light Rail

The boys LOVE trains, so we took a morning and headed to the light rail for a ride.

 First, we parked on the top of the parking garage and took in the view below.

 I pointed out a boy riding his bike and it turned out to be our good friends, Julia, Scott and Noah!

 After visiting with them for a bit all I needed to do was to buy my ticket and get on.  Alas, the machine didn't take cards and I rarely have cash.  "Okay boys, lets run over to that bank before the train leaves and get money (we were at the last stop so the train stays for a while and then only comes every 30 min)."  We quickly got money and came back only to find that the machine only takes small bills and change.  Bla.  "Hurry, lets go get change."  Poor boys were worn out and then we missed the train.

 We made the best of it, got our lunch and relaxed for a bit til the next one came.

 YAY!!! It's back! 

 The boys had a great time!  

 I think Brady's favorite part was the announcer on the speakers.

 My least favorite part was getting on and off since the doors are HORRIBLE!  They don't stay open long and about smashed me helping the boys getting off.  BOO.  I like MAX better for sure!

Of course they wanted to watch the train leave as well.  I gave my ticket to another guy since it didn't expire for a while, and he came running off with a couple little candy bars before he left.  A fun end to our little trip!
