Warning: LOTS of Pictures! I couldn't pick just a few! Too many cute ones and so many fun memories on this day!
I found this farm when searching online for fun things to do with the boys for the fall. It was further away than I'd normally go with them, but we were SO glad that we ventured out! We found it, parked, and headed down the row of corn to see what we'd find!
The first great thing about the day was that it wasn't the weekend, which meant no lines and lots of fun to enjoy without the crowds! We went right over to the animals and found some pigs chowing down on some old pumpkins.
There were a few fun hen houses, some goats and other little animals to check out!
The train wasn't running until after lunch, which gave the boys a chance to check out EVERY unique car and just play around on them!
Brady was truly in heaven!
The chicken coop car!
Caleb taking a break under a tree for a bit!
The go-carts weren't running either, but for these little guys who couldn't have driven them anyway, this was a great chance to pretend race!
Notice the scarecrows in the background. They were set up all around the farm.
The hay ride WAS running for the morning and the boys waved at the class field trip riding by.
This ended up being one of the favorite places for the boys! They just ran back and forth with their imaginations alive!
Next stop was the hay ride pulled by a big green tractor!
They had all kinds of crazy and interesting creations made from old farm parts set up around the farm to look at!
These are the Tower Slides! The boys weren't quite sure about them at first, but quickly figured out that at least the first slide was SUPER fun and not too long or scary! Notice Caleb at the bottom...he even discovered the fun of going down on his tummy!
This was were we REALLY benefited from no lines. The boys just slid down, and run up...on and on and on!!!
One more stop by the train on the way for a lunch break!
Back to more FUN!
But first a quick stop by the pigs again!
Next we ventured into the corn maze! Again, I was SUPER thankful for NO other people. I think I would have lost them!
There was even a small hay maze with a roof. The boys didn't like the dark, though, so only went in a little ways.
We found a small play structure with another slide in the back of the corn maze!
I'm pretty sure this was an old swimming pool slide. It was so steep that I had to hold them on the way down!
We must have spent an hour playing in the area! They were in heaven climbing up and down, hiding, sliding, singing, chasing, etc!!!
Like I said.....I just couldn't pick only a couple pictures!
I'm pretty sure he was singing one of his favorite songs to the world here!
A little house made from hay and wire!
My ULTIMATE FAVORITE picture of the day! I love these two cuties! I'm so thankful that they've become such great buddies!
Had to try some fun effects on the picture program.
I TRIED to get a group photo. It's tricky with these two sillies!
I'm so thankful that Brady loves and trust me as well. He's won his way into my heart for sure!
The last event at the hay pile was running down the side, jumping off and landing on the ground dying laughing! Such GREAT memories!
Yes, they needed baths that night for sure!
Some more of the crazy scenes set up around the farm! Pretty funny and entertaining!
Next we took a break in the shade of the train and waited for the ride. In the meantime Caleb tried making some faces to show different emotions. I think this one was "Excited!"
Maybe "Angry?" I can't remember.
Perhaps....hmm, I'm not sure. He looks disgusted but I know I didn't say that!
Maybe "Sad"....or "Curious." Hmm, you guys. :)
More waiting and watching the other kids.
I just liked this one. Brady often looks to Caleb for what to do next. Cute.
I also like this since it shows how they relate together...
....and make each other laugh!
And the love sometimes shows more than other times! They were just so cute this day!
Forever Pals!
Yep, back to their favorite spot to play just a bit more!
We didn't buy any, but there WERE pumpkins at the "Pumpkin Farm" too!
And last but not least....some more of my favorites! I did a little photo shoot that they actually agreed to, to try and get some good "best buddy" pictures!
No one was hurt during the taking of these either! Although I wondered a couple times if things would turn south.
Just lots of fun and silliness and love!
Yep...BEST BUDDIES for SURE!!! What an amazing day!!!! I'm thankful!
