Caleb Checkin' In

"Hi Dize" (Hi Guys)!  My turn to tell you what I'm doing these days.
CLIMBING!!!  Yes, I can climb onto the chairs, the couch, into the bathtub, on my crib, and the other day Mommi turned about for a minute and then I climbed onto the table.  She tried to get a picture before I saw her but I'm too quick. :)  Now I pretend I'm going to climb up with an "I'm being silly" look on my face and then say, "no."  I'm a quick learner. :)
I LOVE Daddi's guitar!  I've even figured out how to get it out and play it without getting hurt or breaking it, so now I get to do it by myself!  I really really want one my size that's like this one!  I think I'm going to get one really soon!
I still like to use my bat for a guitar, but now I know that it's really a BAT!  I'm really interested in all kinds of balls lately!  Baseballs, basketball, soccer, and whatever balls I see!  Wanna play with me?
Sometimes when we go out I get really tired and fall asleep on the way home!  I think I'm growing!
I was really excited that Mommi found an Elmo towel that I get to wear after I take my baths!  Mommi wants to get a picture of the look I get on my face every time I look in the mirror when I have it on!  I'm SO proud of it!
Here I am with Daddy helping me to hold his guitar!  They didn't even show me how to hold it right.  I just figured it out by watching Daddy!

Mommi is going to post a video of me playing and Daddi singing that you should see.
Yep, overall I'm a happy guy!  I'm trying to say LOTS of new words lately and so many new things that Mommi can't keep track of all it all!   Maybe she'll tell you some of them later.

"BYE- BYE!!"  If you were here I'd give you a high-five and a fist bump!

Aunt Cindy Visited!

Aunt Cindy came to visit and we had such a great time!!!
The weather wasn't as nice as usual but still good enough to go outside and grill some burgers!
We were trying to get a picture of all of us relaxing and look at me!  lol, I look like I'm holding onto the chair for dear life or something. :)  In reality I WAS very relaxed!  It was nice to not have to watch everywhere Caleb went at every second for a while.  Thanks Cindy! :)
Ooops....our little explorer found some mud!
Caleb loves his Aunt Cindy!  She showed him pictures on her computer and they even took some of themselves on it and made a video!
She got Caleb a new batman sweatshirt that you can kind of see here. :)  More of our wonderful faces!
On our way to the airport.  :(  On the way home Caleb said, "Ah-Nin, Ah-Nin," and then did his sign for "more."  Come back Aunt Cindy!  Well, at least we get to see you in a couple of months for your wedding!!!

About Me- Cheryl :)

Just a bit about ME, since I know everything I post is about Caleb these days!
Well, I must say that Caleb and Matt are what I'm up to the most!
Cuz I pretty much love them to pieces!
But I still enjoy other things as well...like flowers!  These are some at our apartment complex.
Making desserts when holidays come!  Yum!
These were for the kids this Easter, although I think the adults ate more than they did.
And more flowers!  I love the ones I chose but now we'll see if they last.  I ripped out the forgotten lawn and now we have yet to decide what to do with it.
More on me later.....when I get a few more minutes to myself! :)
Next post....CINDY is coming to town....and then MOM!!!!

Look Grandpa...my new favorite toy!

This one's for Grandpa!  You'll be proud!
Caleb LOVES motorcycles, a.k.a. "bikes,"  so I've been looking for a little cheap toy that he can play with that's made for his age.  I couldn't find any so found this one and decided we'll just get it out when we're with him.
The look on his face when I took it out of the package was priceless!  Again, wish I had a camera!  It was love at first site!
He's never played with any toy car as much as this!  He drives it on the walls and shows anyone around!
It makes me wonder if SOMEHOW, Dad, you've been brainwashing him with some new method through the air and across miles! :)
So we now have a musician biker on our hands....hmm, ROCK STAR in the future maybe! :) Next thing we know he'll come home from a nursery with a tattoo! :)

Getting Older!

When did our baby turn into a little boy?
I think he looks so old in this picture!  Matt got down his drum and of course he loved it!  He hasn't turned down an instrument yet.  Trucks don't even interest him too much.
Potty training has begun!  SLOW method though.  We're just basically letting him try it out when he wants to.  This was his first time on the toilet!  I think he's wanted to try once or twice since.  It helps that Fuzzy has initiated the seat!  It makes it seem fun for him too! (Not sure about the hanger.)
He's in the exploring stage of life...including trying out dirt for a snack!
YUCK, YUCK, YUCK!!! He quickly figured out it isn't too good!  Water please!
 Hmm, what happened Caleb?
OH, now I see!  Nope a marker doesn't fit up our noses! Live and learn!  At least it's not blood!
 He loves his daddy!
And Mommy too!  He's wearing one of my shirts and Matt's broken belt.  He also says "C" for Lucy!
And he loves to help!  Daddy just printed some documents from the computer! :)  Thanks buddy!
Age doesn't steal cuteness!
Yes, we love our little boy!

Pals

Fuzzy is a lucky bear!  He was loved so much by me (or at least used as a body pillow when I was in high school) that he started losing his fur and looking a bit tattered.  Little did I know at the time that many years later my own son would pick him as a best pal to play with at home!
Lately Caleb wants Fuzzy to participate in all the fun that he is having.  From blanket rides...
(he decided that some other large toys needed to join him for this adventure too)
 ....to potty training!
We have a seat for Caleb once he decides he's interested, but for now it's mostly for Fuzzy!  Caleb has brought him to go potty many times in the last few days!
Here he's dancing for Fuzzy while waiting for him to finish.
Now time for "Its" as Caleb calls (The Itsy Bitsy Spider)!
And after a job well done, he even gives a high five!
This morning he brought him out to sit with us at the table and play with his new favorite toy!  There wasn't much room so poor Fuzzy didn't last long and soon got thrown on the floor.
This was my favorite and I quickly caught a picture!  Caleb wanted me to hold BOTH of them.  Once I did, Caleb put his arm around Fuzzy and lay his head down on me to rest.  It must have been nap time.  So cute.
As for the other animals...don't worry, they get their time too! :)  Giraffe is still on top!  :)
