Fairytale Town

The weekend of Thanksgiving we went to Fairytale Town with the Parkins and had a great time!
Of course it's hard to just pick a few pictures, so you get a LOT of them! Not a ton of comments though, since time is short.
Old Woman in a Shoe slide was the first stop!
I love this picture...cool dad and excited boy!
He got to practice his "moo," which is more like MO.
It was great watching Matt go down the slides with Caleb, especially since they were a bit small for him.  He got a few bruises I think.
Zoe seems to have grown up a lot this year.  Caleb loves her so much!  He's still hoping to get some claps out of her!
 Lovin' my baby!
 Owl's house
 Daddy love.
 Our cutie pie.
Looking at goats with Aunt Beth
Natural Cowboy!  (We actually told him to say Hi and so he waved)
Time for a break in the Little Engine that Could.
We were at this location longer than any other I think.  Boys love trains!
 More Zoe time
Mother Goose looked a little scary to us.  We're deciding if she's safe or not.
He seems so much older now
Caleb and I went to see the water wheel and no one followed, so I enjoyed some mommy/son time.  I asked Matt to come over a bit later and he took some pictures to get the memory.
 This captures his day...exploring everywhere!
 "Where did the squirrel go?"
 "Is he under here?"
 And some Joshua love.
The day was wonderful for pictures, but we tried a family one at the END of the day when we're all tired.  Not much patience to try too many times, so it's not as good as I'd hope for.
Had to do a self portrait
 A great day with family
We'll be going again sometime for sure!

Broom!

Caleb always wanted to play with our broom, which at times we let him...until he almost broke the TV.  Time to get him his own.  We had no idea just how much he'd love it.  Now we rarely see him without it.  He'd even sleep with it if we let him, but for now he's content if we at least put it by his crib.  The best $3 we ever spent! :)

I love these...his favorite two things- the broom and his slippers!  Who needs clothes!?
"Don't mess with the baby and his broom!"

LOTS of Caleb!

I obviously like catching memories on camera, so here's just a bunch of random things I've caught this little guy doing lately.
 handsome in a box.
 happy boy
always asking for help to get in things still
"I'd like some privacy while on talk on the phone, if you don't mind."
 "Are you still there?"   :)
"You mean I still can't go up by myself?"  (he sat in this position thinking about it for quite a while.)
if only he'd smile. :)  cutie anyway.
he loves backing up to the stairs to sit down on his own.
Officially a big-boy since he walks around with a bowl without throwing his food on the floor...sometimes.
I cleaned out his baby car seat and he was happy to find LOTS of stale Cheerios and crackers under the pad.
His stylin' blue camo diapers with his too-small slippers that he got from Aunt Beth last winter.  He loves them now and asks to put them on all the time.
He's taken his living room diaper basket and loves getting into it regularly.
I heard him fall in the kitchen and came around the corner to see him laying there smiling instead of crying!  I happened to have the camera on for something else!
 LOL! :)
If you haven't seen the video post yet, the other day I heard him in the back room and it sounded like he was carrying something heavy.  I finished what I was doing and went back to find him sitting in the dark next to the toilet.  He had carried his full toy basket into the bathroom, dumped it, got in and started to inspect some play-dough that he had found...yes, all in the dark.  Silly boy!
His silliness makes me laugh so hard at times that I have to choose to stop since it wears me out!  Every now and then we'll do something that he thinks is so funny...he starts belly laughing, which gets me laughing and then it just goes on and on.  I LOVE these moments!
See his THREE bottom teeth.  Still don't know where the 4th is.  His molars seem to be trying to come in soon.  Lots of tears so far over them.
